Please review these terms carefully before accessing or using the MediaCraftTools platform, API, and cloud services.
100% User Ownership
You retain full intellectual property ownership of your media. We claim zero rights or licenses over your uploaded content.
2-Hour Retention Rule
Files are processed ephemerally and automatically wiped after 2 hours, unless you opt into permanent storage on a Pro plan.
Transparent Billing
No hidden fees. Upgrades and subscription cancellations can be managed seamlessly at any time through our Stripe customer portal.
1Acceptance of Terms
By visiting, accessing, browsing, or utilizing MediaCraftTools (the "Service"), including any associated APIs, tools, or applications provided by MediaCraftTools, you signify that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not accept all of these terms without reservation, you are expressly prohibited from using the platform and must cease access immediately.
2User Accounts & Security
To access elevated quotas, API access tokens, or permanent storage options, you may register an account or sign in with an authenticated OAuth identity provider.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API keys.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security compromise regarding your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent activities or violate these terms.
3Ownership of Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content Remains 100% Yours
You retain all right, title, and interest in and to all images, videos, audio tracks, PDFs, and documents you upload or process through MediaCraftTools. We claim no ownership, copyright, or moral rights over your files. You grant MediaCraftTools only the temporary, non-exclusive license strictly necessary to perform the processing operations you requested.
Conversely, the MediaCraftTools interface, software, algorithms, brand logos, and service design are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
4File Storage, Retention & Deletion Policy
We provide tools designed around privacy-first ephemeral storage:
- Default Ephemeral Cleanup (2 Hours): All uploaded and processed media files are automatically marked for deletion and permanently destroyed after 2 hours.
- Opt-In Permanent Storage: Workspaces subscribed to eligible Pro or Enterprise plans may activate optional cloud storage to persist processed media indefinitely.
- No Backup Obligation: MediaCraftTools is a media processing utility, not a permanent data archival backup service. We encourage users to keep independent local copies of all critical media.
5Prohibited Uses
When utilizing our web interface and API, you agree not to:
- Upload malicious executables, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or corrupted files.
- Upload or distribute content that infringes upon third-party copyrights, patents, or trademarks.
- Transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or abusive material.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or execute denial-of-service (DoS) attacks against platform servers or network architecture.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source algorithms without explicit authorization.
6Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
Certain premium capabilities and elevated daily limits require a paid subscription. Billing is handled securely via Stripe:
- Subscriptions renew automatically on a recurring monthly or annual basis until canceled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing dashboard; you will retain access until the end of your billing cycle.
- Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you experience technical faults preventing platform use, contact support for assistance.
7Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDIACRAFTTOOLS AND ITS OPERATORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL MEDIACRAFTTOOLS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
